We’ve received several questions about the optional payroll advance amount listed on the DocuSign forms emailed to you June 11 and 12. The payroll advance amounts reflected on the form were based on your contractual pay rate and did not include eligible premiums.
To correct for this, we are sending a replacement DocuSign form in which the optional payroll advance election includes eligible premiums. Because a form sent via DocuSign cannot be altered, your previous DocuSign form will be voided if you have not submitted it yet.
If you have already submitted your original DocuSign form, we will be sending a replacement DocuSign form that will supersede what we sent previously, regardless of elections you made or declined. This means you must return the replacement DocuSign form in order to receive any eligible payouts.
We apologize for this inconvenience and have extended the deadline to return your replacement DocuSign form to July 5 at 8 p.m. CT.
What the replacement DocuSign form means for you
Look for your replacement DocuSign form in your aa.com email soon. Be sure to note the amount for your optional payroll advance and carefully consider your choices as you cannot make any changes once you submit your DocuSign elections. Payouts from your comp, vacation or sick banks will also include eligible premiums.
Whether you previously submitted the original DocuSign, declined all your election choices or made elections that did not include the payroll advance, you still must resubmit your elections using your replacement DocuSign form.
If you do not submit your replacement DocuSign form, we will assume you do not want to receive any transition assistance in the form of a payroll advance or eligible payouts from your comp, vacation or sick banks on your July transition paycheck.
The choice is always yours, but please let us know either way no later than the extended deadline of July 5 at 8 p.m. CT.
Reminder about your transition check
As a reminder, your July transition paycheck will be short due to pay frequency or pay methodology changes during this transition, which is why we are offering the option for a payroll advance and payouts from your comp, sick or vacation banks. Your pay guide on Jetnet has more detailed information about your payroll changes and which paychecks are affected.
